So, typical…. I had to move house, which meant dismantling my home studio. Sad, just when I got it the way I wanted it.

Pastures new.

Home Studio

I’ve started setting up my studio in my new home. It’s a bit of a mess at the moment, but it’s still progress.

Audio gear

Piles of studio stuff
Guitar rack and studio gear

But gradually…

Keyboards in place
Lower equipment rack
Audio Equipment racks
..from chaos…

View across my home studio

Patch bay and patch bay rear connection cables

…to the beginnings of my new studio.

Monitors and studio lights

Almost at the point I can start testing my set up. It’s an itch I need to scratch!

Onwards and Upwards

I’ve kept writing during my house move and studio down time. At last I am getting back to deciding on the order to release my songs. It might not seem like it’s that important, but it’s just like the order of notes in a melody.

Once I decide on the release order, of at least the first releases, I will better prioritise recording time. I’ve recorded demos of my songs that will help me to make any decisions.

As I said, pastures new.
